When camping pack a ziplock bag full of dryer lint. When you go to start your campfire throw just a little bit on your kindleing and light it. It is very flamable and makes a perfect firestarter.

My Dad is the best dad and grandad in the whole world. He lost a lot of his family in concentration camps when he was a child and, through this, taught me:
to always stand up for myself and my beliefs
try new things (even if you're scared)
an education is important
enjoy your junk food
don't automatically do the 'safe' thing
hug your children LOTS
kiss your spouse LOTS
show appreciation for the people around you
objects are just objects...they are replaceable
and, most importantly, LOVE YOUR DAD!

None that I can recall he died when I was 4.
So I guess you could say I learned I should try to take care of myself & go to the Dr as needed. Whereas I know my mom said he had a few medical problems & of course was in denial.

pay my bills ahead of time..
have some mad money at all times.
tell the truth and take the consequences.
stay at home, you are welcome there.
eat home cooked meals...
think hard before letting go of your hard earned money.
ignore other ppl. and their bad spending habits.
learn a good habit, by applying it for 21 days and then it will be automatic.
in god we must trust.
all is not lost, when a problem arises, sleep on it and a solution will emerge.
we live in a beautiful world.
when your heart starts pounding, that is the one you love.
if someone truly loves you, they give you all of their money to manage.
raise your kids to make something out of themselves, and pray for them.
