Yeah, probably saved $100 on fuel so far. And even more on eating out.

Don't care. It all pales in comparison to everything lost on-paper, and the real losses of opportunities and things I had planned for later this year.

For gas specifically, it really doesn't help the American oil companies that can't afford to operate when oil prices are this low. They're up **** creek as the Middle East keeps dumping cheap oil, trying to choke out Russia. They're killing us in the process too.
    History will judge the complicit.

not going anywhere is saving a ton of money on gas. Not eating out is saving a ton. not hiring cleaners but paying them is happening however.

        * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

paying the cleaners who come in to clean our house but didnt come this week. We're at home and they could come but better not to spread the virus. But they need to make a living so we just paid them.

Oh, that's very generous of you.

Our neighbor called the other day and asked my opinion on whether or not they should have their cleaner come. I said absolutely not. They both have serious chronic medical issues. The last thing they need is someone coming in who has been back and forth in multiple people's homes.
