Not really any particular financial angle to this but I thought it was worth sharing for entertainment value.
We got a shipment of stuff we ordered from Staples today. We opened a large flat box that had new desk calendars and inside the sealed box was a UPS 2nd Day envelope from AccuQuote addressed to someone about 30 minutes from here. How the heck it got in there we have no idea.
Of course, we called UPS and they are coming on Monday to pick it up and deliver it to the right place. We just thought it was so odd. How did an insurance policy from AccuQuote get into a box with calendars coming from Staples? I'm sure we'll never know.
