Bank is charging me fees if I don't put more cash in

    Yea I knew I could fine somewhere better, but I will be watching out for them. Almost no interest is right. Years ago, I kept money in there before ING. Not that IN Gis all that but beats BOA. I know BOA etc do have brances to maintain.

    I guess they figure if I have not much cash in there, I bette rnot dare take up a teller's time to cash a check or deposit one(actually I deposit checks in this machine they have where I can do my own deposits)

    I really wonder how they stay aloat b/c who with ANY financial savy would park thier cash in an account that bad of interest. I guess they like to get the fees;stuff like charging me if I get a check that bounces written to me(been there before too)

      I'm not sure why anyone would pay anything for a basic checking account. The majority of banks and credit unions offer free checking and some offer interest checking with no minimums. I wouldn't be interested in a bank that wanted me to pay a monthly fee for my accounts.
