It's really very simple, and a wide variety of recipes are ubiquitous. But here's one.

Disclaimer: this is the recipe provided by "Cultures for Good", the company from which I bought all of my various fermentation starters. Not intended as an endorsement. ... You can make yogurt just as well simply by using some plain yogurt from the grocery store, assuming it's got "live & active cultures".

Plus, I save the strained-off whey to use in a variety of ways -- it can replace buttermilk in many recipes (pancakes/waffles/muffins/other baked goods), marinating/tenderizing meat, or our favorite is to add it to smoothies, oatmeal, or home-baked bread (in lieu of water or milk). It's got a bunch of vitamins, probiotics, and some extra protein to boot.

Of course, it does take some time/effort ... but personally? Totally worth it.
can you share a link to the recipe? I'd like to try it
