    Smart, not frugal

Keep in mind, I'm a guy. I think not spending $500 on a purse is smart, not frugal

Also, my frugal note is almost identical to this. My father has been for years now buying his watches for normally $5 or so at Walmart, then dispose of them when they die as they are cheaper than buying a new battery!!

When you take the skinny bars of hotel soap from a cheap chain to use at an upscale hotel procured on Priceline and then take the upscale's fat bars home to use.

Speaking of getting every last drop...it just drives me crazy when I watch the cooking shows and they don't scrape bowls and such and leave so much in.

You must have great self-control! Most folks don't.

    So, here's mine:

You know you are frugal when you get more excited going to the library to check out materials than going to the mall.

You know you are frugal when...you pick up pennies and nickels that no one else wants, and they actually start to add up!

    What are YOUR thoughts?
Yeah, I pick up those pennies and nickles too!

You will realize that you are living frugally when you have what you need more than what your wants. Also, is that when you are able to live a day without eating out!
