Ahah, this is nonsense. I volunteered for more than two years and during this time I had headaches, nervous breakdowns and even depression. At first I thought that I was going crazy, but then I realized that the reason is the hungry children I see every day and that I help people only by 20 percent. All this made me morally less stable and I could no longer control my emotions. I was lucky that I started using Kratom because the effect was awesome. After I read the kratom strains guide, I realized that I should try this plant and I did not regret my decision. So you need a stable and strong psyche for volunteering.

Found this on the internet - thought you guys would like it.

Studies show that volunteering is really good for your health, so even if you make no $$$ from it, you'll feel better and be happier.

Evidence of volunteerismís physical effects can be found in a recent study from Carnegie Mellon University, published this month in Psychology and Aging. Adults over age 50 who volunteered on a regular basis were less likely to develop high blood pressure than non-volunteers. High blood pressure is an important indicator of health because it contributes to heart disease, stroke, and premature death.
The story is at the Harvard Medical School and stuff.
