We’ve all seen the popular State Farm commercials. You sing the jingle and, poof, a State Farm agent appears to help you. However, that isn’t really accurate. Although the insurance company is available much of the time, there are State Farm Insurance hours of operation most agents adhere to.
What are State Farm Insurance Hours?
The hours of your specific State Farm agency may vary. Because an agent runs each location, the time they open and close may change depending on their personal schedule. For the most part, physical State Farm offices will open between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. local time.
If you need to contact a State Farm customer care representative, you can typically reach someone at (800) 447-4930 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. CT. Individuals in need of State Farm emergency roadside assistance can call (877) 627-5757 and receive service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
State Farm Holiday Schedule
State Farm observes the following holidays each year. Most State Farm locations observe these days by closing for business. Hours surrounding these holidays may also be impacted.
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Black Friday
- Christmas Day
As mentioned above, an agent manages each physical location. So, some State Farm locations may choose to be open and do business on these days. However, most of the insurance company’s offices will be closed. Call your State Farm insurance agent before heading over to the office to ensure they’ll be in the office.
State Farm Online Services
The good news is that, for the most part, you don’t have to show up at your local State Farm office to get help with your policy. As mentioned above, there are some 24-hour phone services available. You can also access most of your policy information through the online portal.
State Farm allows you to manage your policy, make changes, pay your bill, file a claim, and contact customer support through their website. So, even if your local office is closed, you should still be able to take care of any urgent business you may have.
All in all, if you have business you need to take care of in person, it is always a good idea to call ahead to verify your agent’s hours.
