Optic Nadeshot’s Career

Matthew Haag, largely known by his Playstation tag Optic Nadeshot, was born on August 3, 1992 in Palos Hills, Illinois. He is 24 years old and has been passionate about gaming for years.

Optic Nadeshot got his start as a professional gamer with the¬†Halo series of video games, which is where his gamer tag originated from. Nadeshot originates from a lethal move in the game called “grenade shot.” He was a competitive amateur with¬†Halo 2, however, he switched to the third-person shooter¬†Gears of War shortly after he began competing.

When Nadeshot was 16 he made his professional (non-amateur) debut with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The rest is history! Once Nadeshot got his start with Call of Duty he was able to really make a name for himself. Since June 2010, Matthew Haag has been a member of OpTic Gaming. OpTic is a gaming community for professional gamers, like Haag. He has even taken the captain seat of the community for a year.

During his time in the OpTic Gaming community Nadeshot focused most of his professional gaming career on the Call of Duty games. For each COD game that has been released, Nadeshot has competed against other gamers and won.

In April 2015 Nadsehot stepped down from his position as captain of OpTic Gaming. He won’t totally be leaving the pro team in the dust though. Although he resigned from the organization as a member and captain, he also announced that he is going to become a full-time content creator and co-owner of OpTic.

So, what will this career move mean for Matt Haag and what is Optic Nadeshot’s net worth?
