Census Work in 2020!
Mark your calendars to do census work in 2020. The US government counts its citizens every 10 years and needs lots of help to get the job done.
You have to take a relatively easy exam; the higher you score on the exam, the more likely you'll be called to fill a slot. I started working for the 2010 census in April and continued on through early August, making $19.75/hr and actually making money on the gas reimbursements for my fuel-efficient Honda. Plus I met a lot of interesting people.
