That's a pretty broad question. I don't know if you can make a living online, but there are countless ways to supplement your income online. Several people here have made extra money doing surveys, and buying and selling on Ebay and Craigslist.

You can't really make a living online unless you specialize. Even then, it would be very hard at first, and never easy as drawing a regular paycheck somewhere with reliable income. You could try selling things on E-Bay, or starting your own website.

Try to get involved with online businesses or get membership on writing and editing stuff. This may be a small start but it should work for you in the long run. I have seen some friends do that, and soon enough their bills get paid from working online.

Find an ecommerce niche that doesn't have heavy competition. Make a website to start selling products that fill that niche. Learn SEO and SEM.

Are there people who work online in your usual line of work? If so, perhaps you can do that as well. If there are not people already working online in your usual line of work, have you been trying to think of ways to do it online?

Are you looking for some way that, universally, anyone might be able to make a living online? I think those ways must be few and far between. It seems impossible to recommend a way to make a living without knowing anything about your skills.

I am currently making excellent passive income with an affiliate program I belong to. I rarely recommend online programs but the one I'm with is providing me with an excellent second income and I don't have to recruit or sponsor people. I don't have time for any of that since I am working full-time.

Because of forum rules, I can't post the link for you to look at the website, but if you or anyone else is interested, please send me an email through my Profile page.

If you don't have a specific talent, you can try a call center from home.

you can write articles. There are a lot of people out there there who are making a living out of writing articles. Search the net, I am sure you will find a lot of websites promoting/brokering writers.

You could look at editing and content writing freelance work. I believe there's a lot of that online.

I don't know what you mean by making a living but if you are interested in starting an income producing website then there are many ways to do it. It depends on your current knowledge, your desires, what you like doing and what you are willing to do. The one thing I tell you is that if you want a site that will make money you have to add value, you have to provide a benefit to your visitors/readers.

I have started a website with this purpose and can tell you that it is not easy but it works if you work it. I did not know anything about website building but the company I chose to build my site is very step-by-step in teaching you how to do it. I have met people using this system that are making 4 and 5 figures per month with their site(s).

Again, it is not easy and it is not quick but then again nothing worthwhile is. No real business will be quick and easy but I know for a fact it can be done.

Wow, Abdullah. How long is a piece of string?

There are literally 1000s of ways people make money online. Here is a list of just a few, but remember there are many more.

eBay
Adsense
Writing
Freelancing
Selling
Stocks and Share

The list goes on, my advice is to find something that you might be good at and go from there! Learn from your mistakes and above all, just keep on going. Like everything else in life you need to work at it. People mistakenly have the belief that working online is easy, it takes time, skill and patience, just like learning anything else in life!

Good luck to you.

Take a look at freelancer.com or guru.com. These websites are pretty good source for finding temporary work. Hope it helps.

Sell Services:

- Writing
- Backlinks
- Videos
- Social Media Marketing

Sell Information:

- Ebooks
- Ecourses
- Videos
- Solutions to common problems

Sell a Physical Product:

- Ebay has a list of everything and anything

It's not usually a matter of reinventing the wheel but rather carving out a niche where it's profitable in real life but generally untapped online. Trust me, they exist.

Although some of these posts may be useful to other members, the OP has not been active on the site since his OP in April.

I didn't notice, but it is helpful. It presents information that is still relevant and thus can be continued to avoid multiple threads on the same topic.
