I don't have one currently, but I'm hoping to be working on the script very shortly!

I sold collectibles online for many years. I started in the mid 1990s advertising on newsgroups (remember those). Then I started my own website. In 1997 I started selling on ebay and sales took off (relatively speaking). My 2000, when I was briefly unemployed, I was racking up sales of $2,000-$3,000/month. Now, of course, ebay is relatively worthless, at least for the type of stuff I sell, and I hardly ever list anything. I do still sell books pretty regularly on half.com and make a few bucks doing that.

I am web designer. Have started as a hobby in 2002. In 2009 I lost my job as a radio DJ and started freelancing full time. I'm currently living off my web business and enjoying the freedom

I average $9.00 per month from Pinecone Research, year in - year out. It goes right into PayPal. When I find something I want on-line, I wait until I have enough in PayPal (alright, this is a patent lie but it limits certain aspects of what I spend on-line).

You don't need to post links to share your story. You only need to post links to share SPAM or advertise your own business. No thanks.

I made a post a few days ago advertising a website I was launching (it has since been deleted and I understand why) - I wasn't trying to shamelessly plug my site - I honeslty was trying to let people know of it and to let people know they don't have to pay full price for items on-line.

I guess my approach was wrong and it came off being SPAMMY. Also, I know a lot of people out there just care about pushing their business and not about the community they're involved in.

I am one of the most frugal people I know and I'm just trying to think of ways to help other people who are just like me - this forum appears to be the right place and I empathize with a lot of people here...

Sorry to you and to anyone who thinks I'm here to SPAM this forum... Not the case - I just want to find ways to save money and to share my knowledge!
