For internet geeks out there, you're probably already watching this intently, with bated breath. But for those who don't know, one of Cnet.com's senior editor, James Kim, has been missing for more than a week.
He, his wife, and his two young children were traveling through an isolated road in Oregon when their station wagon slid off and got stuck. For 8 days, they kept warm by running the car at night. And when they ran out of gas, they burned the car tires.
About two days ago-- I guess when they finally ran out of options-- James Kim went off to get help, while the wife and two kids stayed behind.
Throughout this time, a massive manhunt has been underway, and the good news is that they just located the wife and children! Despite having been out there for more than a week, the family is reported to be in good health.

Unfortunately, James Kim is still unaccounted for, but the search continues.
Update: At this time, they have a website up for anyone who wants to the latest update or leave well-wishes. LINK
