Arrow bent can stores

I drove a half hour to a bent can store. I spent fourty dollars and walked out with about 90 dollars worth of stuff. 4 examples.....
I got koolaid brand, any flavor, including the invisibles and magics, etc, for 10 for a dollar. they are four for a dollar at my local store. 2 and a half times for the same price. seems wasteful just looking at that, but also, i keep 2 liter bottles, almost same size, dh makes one and takes it to his job and has drink for all of his shift. instead of those 2 dollar coffees and 1.50 sodas. ten 2 liters for one dollar. not to mention my dk's who love em also. I like to pour some in ice cube trays as well.
I also got a clorox toilet wand, with 2 in the box and 6 heads, for 3.69! no it dont have a stand, but im working on making my own.lol. Ill do my best to find a way for that.
they have a bin of snack items listed 4 for a dollar. I got four peanut bags, usually 50 and 99 cents each, bold fruit tic tacs, breezers, different gums, like eclipse and fusion, altoid strips, altoid gum( cinn and spear), a plastic cont of tylenol ex strgnth, beef jerky strips, and more, all for dh's long night shift, 6pm til 6am. All in containers that he can put in his pockets.
I also got juicy juice bottles for 75 cents each. ive never bought that for under a dollar before ever! Im a happy camper! lol.

We have one of these, Amish run. Dented cans, expired stuff. I purchase my bulk stuff there (yeast, flour, etc.) and looked around for the first time this past week. Had much of the same success as you, leggzz! Going back today to inspect further. Cereal for 75 cents a box and only a couple of months our of expiration! Grandkids ate it up this past weekend. Found out they get a big semi truck of this stuff once a month.

That's awesome! How would you go about locating a store like this. I've tried googling....but what would be the formal name of one of these stores??

Look at Joan-of-Arch's posts, she recently posted a good address list of these types of stores all over the country.

Salvage stores seems to come up often in the titles, but we always call them scratch-n-dent stores.
