glad you can use it I have not tried it yet with lowered fat sour cream but I am thinking it can be used with it just changes the taste alittle bit. Oh by the way it has been 5 days since I made my bottle and I still have 1/3 bottle left this is only cause my kids are ranch finatics(sp?) we have 3 bottles of that alone LOL.

YUM! It sounds like cucumber salad, but SO much easier!

If you would like a hint on nonfat sour cream, add a small amount of nonfat ricotta to the NF sour cream. It improves the texture, changes the flavor, and adds protein.

Or, if you know how to drain nonfat yogurt, it makes a really nice substitute. Once you drain it, some of the sourness will also drain away and leave a thicker, creamier yogurt, high protein, less artificial ingredients than NF sour cream (you can use the liquid to make sour dough bread without going through the waiting process -- I really hate waste!)

Add a bit of dill, and white vinegar or lemon juice to add flavor if the NF is still not working for you.
