Default No Bean Chili

I made this last week and I loved and and so did the kids. I like to taste my food and add more spices if necessary so measurements are approximate.

1 large can of tomato juice
1 large can of crushed tomatoes
2 lbs 15 % ground beef (do not use extra lean it will be flavorless)
2 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tsps celery salt
4 tablespoons chili powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper (use less if you don't like it spicy)
1 small bell pepper seeded and chopped.

Brown ground beef (do not drain) in soup pot. Add bell pepper until very slightly cooked through. Add all other ingredients. Turn heat down to low and cook for two hours. After one hour taste to see if you need to add more chili powder or cayenne pepper. Be extremely careful with the cayenne as the flavor becomes bolder the longer it cooks.

Chili remains a little saucy, but over all it has very good flaver and there was enough left the next day to make chili mac.

Feeds a mom, 2 teenage boys and a 14 year old picky daughter with ease.

(For those of you who are hyperglycemic or diabetic it has very little carbs)
