Thought everyone would enjoy this!
You can buy your dried spices in bulk at the supermarket. This would also make a cute & frugal gift done up in cutesy little jars with gift tags.Christina Rustic Rub by: Emeril Lagasse 8 Tbsp. Paprika 3 Tbsp. Salt 1/4 c. Garlic Powder 3 Tbsp. Onion Powder 2 Tbsp. Fresh Grounded Black Pepper 2 Tbsp. Cayenne Pepper 2 Tbsp. Basil; dried, & ground up a little 2 1/2 Tbsp.Oregano; dried & ground up a little 2 1/2 Tbsp.Thyme; dried & ground up a little ************************************************** **** ** Combine all of the ingredients in a clean quart-sized glass jar. **Put the lid on, & shake it up very well to blend. **This spice can be used in, or on just about anything that you cook, or bake; like fish, chicken, meatloaf, even fried or poached eggs. ** It can be used in tuna salad, deviled eggs, potato salad, and macaroni salad. **This blend is not hot to taste, it is very flavorful. |
