Mexican Salsa
1 medium onion (peeled and cut in half)(sweet is best) 1 can diced tomato (15 oz) 1 Tbsp. Chef Series Southwest Chipotle Seasoning Blend 2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro (optional) 2 cloves garlic (peeled and smashed) Lime juice (1/2 lime) Quarter onion: Chop in Quick Chef using blade. Add remaining ingredients; cover and turn handle until desired consistency. Serve with Chips for dipping. from my tupperware lady, DH loved it..I don't eat salsa |

HOT salsa
When tomatoes are in season- 2 or 3 tomatoes, finely chopped 1/2 C onion, finely chopped 1/2 C colored peppers, finely chopped 1/4 - 1/2 habenero pepper, finely chopped or 1 jalapeno tomato sauce - until "right" consistency salt and pepper Make early in the day and let it sit in the fridge. Can also add black beans and corn for a change. |
