Meal stretcher ideas? Mine...Chili Mac

I am not sure this is so much of a recipe, but a method. I've had meal plans that called for my husband and I to finish off leftovers. Great plan. Then company stops over, and is going to eat as well.

One time, we had about 2.5 servings of homeade chili leftvoers. I had about a third of a pound of pasta leftover (uncooked) - cooked that up, mixed the chili in, topped with a little cheese.. stretched the meal, and was very tasty to boot

Anyone else have "meal stretcher" ideas??

take a box of cheap mac and cheese, add 1 extra cup of macaroni, and a slice of cheddar cheese... serve with slice of bread and applesauce. nilla wafers and peanut butter for dessert...

We make 'taco mac' mix in leftover taco stuff with macaronni, and maybe an extra can of tomatoes...

I have found that any meal that didn't go over well the first time can be 'tacified' and devoured the next .
