I wish I had eaten at frugalfarmwife's house tonight...sigh. we had hamburgers. I don't plan the menus in advance. We usually take something out the of the freezer in the morning to have that night, though, so we are not running to the store all the time either.

Jodi we'd have shared, as it is we have leftovers for lunch We do appreciate having our own beef, this way we can have steak and rib roast more often at a tiny fraction of what it would cost otherwise!

And YUMMMM it was good! And we even splurged and each had a beer with dinner!

mon. stroganoff, cauliflower, salad.
tues. chicken parmesean, mixed veggies, garlic bread, mixed fruit.
wed. chicken tortillas, corn and salad.
thurs. beans and franks, celery with peanut butter, large cookie
fri. shepherd's pie, cabbage and onions, homemade wheat bread, and piece of yellow cake, with a lil frosting.
we have been drinking alot of tea, hot and cold lately.
i use 7 black tea bags, and 3 green tea bags.. i boil 14 cups of water and add the bags and let them seep until cool and stir.. i add 1/2 cup of sugar or honey, and 2/3 cup of fresh lemon juice. you can adjust the sweetness and lemon juice to taste.. so, far we have almost cut out soda, drinking this concoction and feel great and are losing pounds, plus, we are staying hydrated better.. who would have known???
