Default What's for dinner wk of Oct 23rd

Nothing exciting this week... pretty boring.



Sunday We are going to a progressive dinner party.

Mon Lasagna

Tues Crockpot Chicken Salsa

Wed Leftover lasagna

Thurs Lefover crockport chicken salsa

Fri Clean out the fridge night or soup/sandwiches

Sat Homemade pizza

Sunday: Chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, broccoli, applesauce
Monday: Assorted leftover buffet, but pineapple upside down cake for dessert!
Tuesday: Meatloaf, scalloped corn, baked potatoes, lettuce salad, mandarin oranges
Wednesday: Grilled pork chops, baked sweet potatoes, spinach salad, cinnamon apples
Thursday: 3 bean soup, cornbread, veggie tray, fresh pears
Friday: Tacos (from leftover meatloaf) refried beans (from leftover bean soup), lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc...,
Saturday: Roast chicken, augratin potatoes, green beans, tomato/cuke salad, apple crisp

Don't have the whole week planned, we usually kind of wing it.

last night was "hot" soup, 1/3rd a round steak, quart of home stewed tomatoes, okra, rice and one habernaro pepper.

Tonight shredded BBQ beef sandwiches (other 2/3rd round steak is in the crock now)

weds "toss" soup, the broth from the round steak and various veggies tossed in

Yes very easy to make.

Throw boneless chicken breast into the crockpot,
throw salsa, oinions, diced tomatos, garlic spices, taco seasonsing if you have it around.

Cook for 6 hrs on low

I throw in a couple of cups of cooked riced right at the end and some chedder cheese.
