Thumbs up Re: Get Paid For Surveys

Hi,

You can definitely make extra money doing surveys and referring people to survey companies. I was really happy to see someone in a prior post had listed my website as a good resource. Between doing the surveys and referring people I make $300-$600 a month. Not enough to quit my day job yet.

If you have questions about either you can always e-mail me.

Thanks and good luck!

Renee

OK, lets be perfectly honest here. You are never going to make $300 - $600 a month from taking surveys...the only way to make this type of money is to refer a ton of people (the old multi level marketing theory) which means you need to start your own site and spam other sites to recruit people.

The truth is that survey sites are basically worthless...maybe $10 a month at most.

I did a $100 survey on Friday night via the phone for Survey Savvy. I think you can make money participating in the surveys.

Sure, just like you can make money surfing the internet. Yes, you can make a few dollars here and there, but you give the impression that people can make hundreds every month just doing surveys. That is a lie. It takes a lot of hours and a lot of spamming and your own website to do that...and you aren't earning the money by doing surveys, but by recruiting others. A classic MLM scheme which on the border line of being a pyramid scheme.

So you're telling me that survey savvy gives $100 surveys on a regular basis. I have been a member with them for 2 years and have received a toal of 5 surveys from them, none of them even close to $100. By giving that example (whether true or not) you deceive people.

Don't buy a membership, all the Survey Sites you have to pay for are a rip off. They don't have anything different than the free ones.

I did surveys & I didn't like it.

I was suppose to get $50 gift card for applying for a credit card, all I got was a credit card.
I was suppose to get $50 gift card for doing a free 2 week trial at Blockbuster onver the internet. All I got is an additional month for $15 when I forgot to cancel in time.

Oh yeah, I also got a bunch of spams & junk mail. So not worth it to me.

I can vouch for survey savvy. I completed a $100 survey and have received my check! It took about a month for me to receive it.

Unfortunately, they don't have a direct link to sign up with their program...they advertise on various sites (they advertised on our previous site for a short time) and rotate their banner ads around quite a bit. You need to come across one of their banner advertisements for a chance to sign up with them.

Here are some other survey sites that may be worth checking out:

I've never done online surveys (just signed up--we'll see if the junk mail and aggravation are worth it). But I have done on-site market research. I got paid $200 to pick up some products to try at home for a week, and then go to the place for a two-hour discussion. But they didn't pick me to take part in the discussion, so I just ate a free turkey sandwich and drank free coffee while I waited for them to release me, and they did after about half an hour. Not a bad deal. But I hardly qualify for any of their surveys. I guess I'm happy if I get to do one or two a year.

I get a $5 check almost every month from Pinecone and occasionally 2 checks. It will depend on what they are looking for. There are a lot of surveys I don't qualify for because I am older, not working and do not have children. I also do not invest and there are a lot of surveys about investing. I rarely use convenience foods. So it will depend on what you put in your profile. Also they are sometimes looking for only people who live in a certain locale.

My biggest thing about surveys is the fact that they ask your name - your income and then spam you to death. I've tried QUITE a few and maybe I'm just hitting the wrong ones...?

I belong to 3 and never get spam. I think you need to run from the ones that claim to be surveys, but offer insane things like computers as payment . . . they're looking for more than just your opinion!

I don't think I get much spam if any from entering surveys. Hard to tell ...I do get some spam ..and I get lot of email from entering sweepstakes too. Today I got a $10 check from Common Knowledge, Inc. It also says DBA Your2cents online onion panel. I don't even remember the survey. :-)

All surveys will ask the demographic questions...email, sex, age, income, and usually city and state...that kind of thing. Some ask more than others.
