Re: $8000?
I have 0 credit card debt now. I still use them, I did today, but I budget $240 a month for that, and try not to go above that. I went over at christmas, but managed to pay off about $600 owed!

Re: $8000?
I use one credit card and I used to phone up and find out my entire balance to pay off but I have just recently found out that you just have to pay the new balance not the entire balance without interest, so I can use their money for free for 30 days.
I wish I knew that sooner!!!

Re: $8000?
Using a cash back card now, so charging more, but always pay it off every month.

Re: $8000?
My new year's eve resolution two years ago was to pay my balance in full every month. so I have less than $300 on my card now which I will pay off next month.

Re: $8000?
When I married 12 years ago my new husband said he would add me to his credit card as long as I paid it off every month. That helped me learn how to shop wisely and avoid unnecessary purchases. We use one credit card for everything now, gasoline, groceries, medicine, cable tv, cellular telephone, etc....and the average $1000 monthly bill is paid in full.

Re: $8000?
We're much lower. The way things are going, we should be able to have it paid off this year. We're hoping. I have a rewards credit card which I use for everything possible but I pay it in full every month.

Re: $8000?
Ours is lower but will be paid off as soon as the SSN for DS2 gets here and we can file our taxes.
