American dream is sort of a generic term and has different meanings to different people. Mine is to retire young and live off interest, And accounts like ED's "American Dream" are helping that come true

The American Dream doesn't have to be applicable to the entire country - only applicable to you and your personal work ethic and dream. You can still make it happen if you still want it.
