I pay about $20 a month for just liability we do pay it every 6 months now though & we pay my husbands his is full coverage he has a brand new truck & mine is just liability as I have a taurus with over 100k miles on it. So for both cars it seems like alot but mine is really the cheap part dh is the expensive part of it!!!

The coupe turns 12 this year and still drives. I dropped collision on it though. The newer car carries liability and comp/collision. We switched to Progressive last year because they were the cheapest for us. We pay $436 on a 6-month policy for both cars now. It pays to shop around, this is a huge savings over our previous carrier with higher coverage.

Tip: Cleaning up your credit may get you a cheaper rate with some carriers. The insurance industry is looking at credit scores as an indicator to how bad you drive/how likely you are to file a claim.

I pay about $1200 a year on two cars - both full coverage. Not too bad - I have a good relationship with my insurance agent that I've been with for 10+ years.

About $1350 total for two cars (2000 minivan and 2005 Sentra) in rural NY. Collision on both. That's not too bad of a rate - DH has a few tickets, but I've got a clean record. We also take the defensive driving courses.

I pay $193 every three months. I have a 2000 Olds Alero, two tickets on my record (they may be purged off now, since it's been 8 years since my last ticket).

For my 2003 Mazda Tribute (small SUV), I pay $680/year. (breaks down to about $57/month.)

I am with Geico ~ they had the best rate in VA for me.

We do, unfortunately, pay property tax on our cars here. That's another $145/year for my car.
