Ever since their rates dropped, Smartypig isn't as good a place for me to keep my money anymore. However, they do offer a good amount of cashback on gift cards--up to 10% on some stores. I have heard of sites like PlasticJungle, but never actually sold a GC online. My question is: how do I get my money from Smartypig into my checking account with minimum risk and maximum profit.

Can't remember how I did it, but I did. You have to search around on their website for instructions. I think I had to send an email to customer support. Once the account is empty, they'll close it after 6 months or so.
