Default Please review my car insurance

Honda Civic 2006 in florida, I was on an accident last year, on my own, I crashed againt the median...
But I am a very careful driver in general, that was an exception

Bodily Injury Liability 100,000/$300,000 Cost: $343.50
Property Damage Liability $50,000 Cost: $130.10
Personal Injury Protection-Insured & Rel Cost: $172.80 with $500 deductible
Comprehensive Cost: $29.10 with $1000 deductible
Collision Cost: $137.80 with $1000 deductible
Rental Reimbursement (I wish i had this b4) Cost: $11.10 $30 a day max

Monthly:$154.63
And I think I need to add uninsured motorist insurance... I live in florida...

Any advise, too much, too little?

Insurance rates vary greatly from state to state. I live in PA and pay just under $1000 a year for full coverage on two vehicles. If you want to lower your rates, then shop around. One of the easiest things that you can do to drop your rates is to raise your deductible.

Can I reduce this coverage, or that is not advisable: Bodily Injury Liability $100,000/$300,000

No, I would not lower your liability coverage. Having higher liability helps you get lower rates when you shop. I would bring up your property damage liability to 100k -- it will cost only a few dollars more. I would get a price quote for 250/500 Bodily Injury, too.

I like a lower comprehensive deductible. You could lower the comprehensive deductible to $500, and it will probably cost less than $15 more every 6 months. Comprehensive claims do not increase your rates, but you want to avoid small or frequent claims. But if you have a large claim, you get a larger settlement with a lower deductible. For example, if someone steals your car, and the actual cash value is $7,000 (keep in mind I have no idea what your car's real value might be), I would prefer to pay a little more every 6 months to get a $6,500 settlement rather than a $6,000.

I don't know the PIP law in Florida, but you want to coordinate it with your health and disability insurance. You may want to reconsider your PIP deductible if it is a per person deductible, and you have a family.

I believe in shopping you auto insurance each year, but if the insurance company you have now did not raise your rate because of the accident, you may have a pretty good deal now.

Definitely shop once the accident is over 3 years. Rates vary greatly between insurance companies and you don't get better claims service by paying more.
