Default Banks that offer sign-up bonuses

I'm wondering if anyone knows of other banks that offer sign-up bonuses? These are the ones I know about:

ING Direct: $25 bonus with referral from a friend - $1 deposit
VirtualBank: $20 bonus with referral from a friend - $100 deposit
Met Life Bank: $25 bonus with promo code CPW7 - $5,000 deposit, 90 days

If anyone knows of any others, I'd appreciate knowing. Thanks.

Valley National Bank (NJ) gives you $10 when you open up a Kid's First savings account. Initial deposit $10 (to get the match), no monthly charges and FREE COIN COUNTING (it's worth it just for that!).
www.valleynationalbank.com

You can get up to $200 from Citibank for opening up a Citibank EZ checking account, free with direct deposit. $1,500 initial deposit, pay 2 bills a month for 3 months at citibankonline and get $100, then pay 2 bills a month for another 12 months and get the next $100. They list an expiration date of 3/31/05, but who knows if they'll extend it. See this link: http://citi.bridgetrack.com/cbol/200... 68115ECEDD0B0

Is anyone out there a customer of virtualbank who could refer us?

Sorry, one more: Bank of New York offers up to $100 if you open a "Free-for-life" checking account. You get $25 for using the debit card 5 times within 60 days, $25 for paying 5 bills online within 60 days, $25 for direct deposit, $10 for opening a linked savings account with $100, $10 back after your first order of checks, and $5 if you open a student savings account with $100.

I haven't done this yet, and don't think I'd take advantage of the last two, but $85 for the rest isn't too bad...Expires 7/11/05

Why would anyone deposit $5000 for 90 days just to get a $25 bonus?
