Default Get Paid To Write Articles

Not sure if it is legit, but someone might want to check it out and report back here

WriteForCash.com

Here's how it works:

*Register yourself as a writer. We'll need this information to pay you. Be sure to send us a copy of your W-9 tax form; this is necessary in order to receive payment.

*Choose the article you want to write and claim it. Once you login you will see a link to "Choose Article" on the left hand side. Click on the link and begin drilling down into each category. Click on an article you are interested in writing to claim it.

*Once you claim an article you will have two weeks to submit the article itself (between 500-800 words minimum and 2500 words maximum, please).

*Within two weeks of receiving your article, we'll notify you via email after we have reviewed your article. At that time, we will let you know whether or not it needs a revision and if it has been accepted.

*If the article has been accepted, Write For Cash will pay you between $10 and $15 depending on the quality of the article. Please see our Writer's Guidelines for information on how to make sure your article receives the maximum payment.

*Payments are processed at the beginning of each month. You will be paid for all of the articles which have been approved up to the last day of the previous month.

*PayPal handles the payments for all our writers. Please be sure to register with them before you begin submitting articles.

I created an account - if I see something I feel I can write about, I'll give it a go.

Jen,
The only thing that concerns me is losing the copywrite. You may actually better be off to write articles for your Divatribe and use google adsense and afflilate programs to generate moola from your site.

For a person that doesn't have a website it may be a nice idea to earn some extra cash.
Good luck!

I know - I thought about that too. If I can write an article that doesn't really fit well with DT, then I'll submit it. (Of course, with creativity I can make nearly anything "fit" with DT. )

At this point, there's no one article on DT bringing in $10, though, so I figured I could spare one and try it out.

I don't like that they need someone's SSN. I haven't given it yet, and that above all else is the thing I don't like about the program.

I guess it doesn't really matter as longs as you give it to them just before you receive payment.
