Lightbulb has something like this happened to you?

just when I think I cannot find new ways to make money/save money, something happens that brings me over the edge again, forcing me to find a way....like the whole psychologist thing with DD...if you had asked me last year, I would have said there was no way I could make more money, not a cent...and, yet, here I am, making $20-$30 more than what I was...true, it means extra sacrifice....but, still, I was wondering about this, especially because I was reading a book and found this statement:

"It is amazing how easy it is to make a decision when you have no choice"

I have to agree that the wole No choice thing, if you absolutly must do something, you will find a way. Which is why dishes arn't done yet, I don't absolutly have to

Jacquelyn,
The way she is making more money, I think, is by selling tamales that she and a buisness partner make.

Yes I have had lots of times in my life where I have had to come up with a new trick to be more frugal or to earn money. Last year when I had my youngest I was scared to death because of alot of things she was unplanned & money was tight & I had no insurance. I found tons of ways to come up with extra money & we did get insurance when I was about 6 months along so delivery was covered.

I started cutting costs like you wouldnt believe & doing rebates like crazy & getting into merchandising mystery shopping & demos to make some money, & having more garage sales, & cut out all shopping except for nescessities.

I started going to the library & reading all these frugal books & I have become more frugal than I ever thought I could be & just when I thought I could never get a job now with 3 kids that would require daycare costs, I found one that would work into my husbands schedule I have not much of one but I bring home a little extra each month And it helps alot!!!

It is crazy how things work out when they have too. Because if you would have asked me before I had her if I could cut expenses I would have said NO WAY
