How To Track A Loan
Anyone know of a place I can input a loan I am receiving from a family member so I can track it until I pay it off. I'm thinking there has to be an Excel spreadsheet or a website I could do this off. I'm getting a loan from my family to put new siding on my house. I was going to use a HELOC to pay for this but they said I could just pay them back at 3% interest. They said that is way better for them than just letting that money sit in a savings account and that is a lower rate than I could get anywhere else. The loan will not have a fixed number of payments so I can make my monthly payment to whatever I can afford so the monthly payment may go higher or lower sometimes. Also when I receive my tax refund every year I could see myself putting a chunk of money towards this also. Is there a place I could track this and have it calculate the interest for me?
