Personal Finance and Money Management Books

Well I finally made my way through college, have no debt, and have landed a great job. Problem is I nothing about financing. Stocks, mutual funds, taxes, tax deductions, 401K Plans, Roth IRAs, Credit Cards, Credit Score, Mortgages, Real Estate, and so on are all things I should have a thorough understanding of by now but are things I only have a limited knowledge on at best.

I was wondering if I could get some recommendations on books and websites to help me jump start my knowledge on the financial world and money management. And any other advise you guys have learned through the years would be greatly appreciated.

The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach.

Give more specifics for tax and investing advice. Income and expenses.

Invest at least 10% of your income.
Never carry a balance on a credit card.
Limit your debt as much as possible.
Pay your bills and debts on time.
Mutual funds

Money plays a significant role in our life. It comes to those who truly respect it and know the ways to manage it properly. In order to lead a debt free life you should take care of the following things;

- Try to find the missing financial links
- Use credit cards wisely
- pay your debt on time
- make a proper plan for each phase of your life

Moreover you may invest in securities depending upon the risk you can take.
If you have taken a loan then go for the minimal EMI scheme.

Conclusion: Keep a regular watch on the current financial sources where you can multiply your wealth and keep a regular check on your hard earned money.
Life is so simple, do not make it difficult. Just try to manage yourself.

Keep investing in yourself by learning about finance.

However, your youth is your best asset - you have lots of time to build your wealth. Don't chase get rich quick schemes. Don't invest in anything you don't fully understand. Keep diversified. Stay out of debt.

An easy book to understand, is the wealthy barber. (David Chilton) I also like the only other investment guide you will ever need by Andrew Tobias.
Dave Ramsey books are popular too.
