Default Suze's Save Yourself promo

I signed up for this the last time they offered it, and received the $100 bonus in 2008.

My question is, will the $100 be counted just like interest?

I have not received a 1099 from them yet.

Thanks!

You received $100 from TDAmeritrade, right?

You may or may not receive a 1099, but yes, the $100 is taxable interest income.

Yes, the $100 was from TD Ameritrade.

Why wouldn't I receive a 1099? Aren't they required to sent me one?

Yes I think they are required to provide a 1099, but who knows, there are always loopholes and exceptions. I guess my point was that you need to report the income even if you do not receive the 1099.

Question: how long did it take them to post the $100 to your account? I will be making my last payment here in Feb., so I have been with the program for one year now.

The real questions is why didn't I join that program, I would've been $100 richer. *snaps fingers

I received the $100 bonus about a week after our 13th deposit was made.

They have the promo going on again now. The only difference is that when I signed up I had to put $50 in every month, now you have to put in $100 every month.
