I am getting concerned. The wife and I both have SSN's with the last 2 digits under 19 and, according to everything I've read, should get the full $1200. However, we haven't received the Direct deposit we should have gotton by May 2nd.

Man I hope they didn't forget us...

You should go to the IRS web site. They now have "where's my tax rebate" so you can check what's up. Just put in the social and other important info.

I went to the site myself... I was suppose to receive mine by May 2nd as well. last number is 06! we even got our tax refund via direct deposit so I know they know it works.

After entering my info, the message appear saying no information was available on my info that I provided.

It wasn't a help at all. I noticed the news slowed down on the rebate thing. I believe it is to tone down the possible frustrations some might be experiencing to save faces.

Yikes! I'd call the IRS. You may wait all day to speak to someone, but you deserve answers.

Are you sure you are not looking at the "where's my refund" page? That pertains to your normal tax refund, not the stimulus rebate. I could not find any personal info on the rebate anywhere, just the standard schedule using last 2 digits of SSN.

I put in my info (last 2 digits are 25) and got the same "no info" message.

I filed my return on time and got my DD already.

However, if you look in the fine print on that page, above the direct deposit schedule, it says "Please allow 2 weeks from the date shown on the schedule to receive your payment." So maybe the "transmitted" date does not mean the date it will appear in your account?

Update:

I was getting concerned because our last 2 digit is 06, we filed in advance, received our refunds via direct deposit, received confirmation from turbo tax that we qualified, each got a letter in the mail and still no rebate yet.

I found out why but still not giving high hopes..... I went to review our taxes from TurboTax file. On the form there is a section for the stimulus payment asking two questions, 1. Yes or no for direct deposit, and 2. If direct deposit, fill out bank information.

I did see my husband enter the bank information for the direct deposit but he mistakenly entered 'No' on the direct deposit thinking he pretty sure did say 'Yes'.

I had to laugh... I guess knowing there is a possibility a check is coming instead of total doubt is not so bad now.

Am I being greedy? We're not getting our full $1500 (2adults,1child) because we have a high tax credit. It is high because we received our adoption credit this year. I feel like we are being penalized when the adoption credit is suppose to help with expenses. The adoption expenses were way more than the credit.

I guess I should be happy that we're getting something. I plan on putting my daughter's $300 in her college fund. But, I am going to follow directions and spend my $300! I don't know what my husband is going to do with his share.

Ours arrived today. See my blog for details. I've got a question about how it was figured.

Mine arrived today, too.

It was $886, for myself and one dependent child.

Hooray! Major home repairs, here I come.

Got ours today as promised. I'm on my way out but I'll transfer it to our Roths tomorrow.

I also did not get the full, when I visit the website it says basic $600 plus one child $300.
**I get this note on the website**
Your Stimulus payment was reduced based on your 2007 qualifying income, or it was limited to the amount of your 2007 Net Income Tax Liability.
Guess the fact we bought our home this year, so we itemized bit us in the bottom.

I was expecting to receive mine by the 9th, but got nothing as of yet. On my 1040, it lists my anticipated refund as $600. I paid my $100 owed via electronic payment. What gives? The tracking thing cannot find any info for me?
