I understand that if I don't use all the money in my medical spending account, then I lose the money. i have all the over the counter drugs I need, but still have money in the account.
I am paying off some dental bills in installments over time. Can I prepay an installment and deduct that from my spending account even though the payment isn't due until January? |

Yes, you can pay it off and claim it as long as the payment is made before January 1st. Just keep teh receipt or the check showing the payment date for your records so you can make the claim.
