'Most do not pay off their credit card balances in full every month' You hear it read it live it? It's on the home page of this site (increasing revolving credit debt).
We do. Are we in such rare company? Taking votes... |

Just yesterday I paid 2,400 to pay off my revolving Amex bill. I took it out of my emergency fund becuase I just could not stand it anymore. That was my last CC.
I am resolved to only paying cash....not sure how it will work out. I beleive it is a mindset. If I don't have the cash to buy it I don't need it. I should repeat it like a mantra! Sharis |

Yes. That is if I use them. I have not used them of late!

Yes I always pay in full - I have never carried a CC balance.
I do think however, I tend to overuse them because I have had to take money out of my savings to pay the balance. It is part of the spending money you don't have problem. I am currently trying not to use them at all. |

I pay mine off monthly as well.

I have only been cc debt free for a little while but I use my cc and as soon as I get home I make a online payment. I do not want a balance unless it is for an emergency

Yes - I pay it off every month. We use cc out of convenience - and for rewards. That's about it - I agree - no fees or interest to those greedy cc companies!
I would consider carrying a balance on a 0% card, only if I had the money in the bank to pay it off if the cc company started playing games. Looks like you are in good company here - WOW - surprised by the poll so far. |

I can't say that this has always been the case, but we do pay our CC off each month. We only use it to put DH's tuition on it, and we pay it in full when we get his GI Bill check later in the month.
We do owe $1K on a 0% interest credit card until Oct 2007 for our new flooring. We will pay that off February 9th. |

ACK! i'm the only one with a no
![]() i no longer use the 2 very tiny CCs i have, which is the good news. once the whole 'job is up in the air' thing is settled, they will get paid off in one fell swoop and then set aside as mini-EFs (for use while i wait for the real EF to come from the ether of online banking). |

Yes. Would only carry a balance on a zero interest card w/the money in the bank to pay it off before deadline.
