I just switched to an HDHP with an HSA since I am young and relatively healthy. My employer pays the entire premium for my coverage and I go ahead and put what I would pay for the premium into the HSA. I think it will work out great for me, and now I don't feel like I am just throwing away money on an insurance premium, still maintain insurance, and am putting money away for future expenses.
