Default Re: How was your 2006 financially speaking?

Gotta post because I ran the numbers finally. I thought 2006 was pretty crappy for us financially, turns out I was somewhat wrong and somewhat right. We increased our net worth by 33% or $48k. Considering our net worth was next to nothing in 2005 (DH only started working in July 2005), we're happy with that number. This year the goal is break $250k mark of net worth, I think we'll make it pretty easily.

And my year turned out great because my mom came through eye surgery great, my grandmother had a good knee replacement, and my grandfather is not doing well, but at least I got to see this holidays. So my year ended on a high note in my heart.

I manage my own portfolio and I did 16% overall. Not bad for an amatuer.

The update of my Budgeting Program has made life so much easier last year. I was never behind in a bill and always knew what was happening.

2007 will be even easier.
