Buying stock in banks to get free services

I read somewhere that some banks will give you free banking services if you own shares of stock in their company. Is this true of all banks? Does anyone know some of the banks that offer this service?

Yes, some banks offer this service, but it isn't a uniform perk. You need to ask each bank if they offer this service. If they do, it is worthwhile buying a single share of teh stock to get the discount. I have free checking at my bank from this method.
