Have you looked in to switching to a prepaid calling plan, since you use the phone so rarely?

i guess the bill that annoys me the most (other than a mortgage payment which sucks up almost one complete paycheck of mine) is the Home Owners Association fee. $180 quarterly. Other than the pool, I'm not sure exactly what we get for our money.

And I second the combined AT&T - Cingular bills. Almost had my cell phone disconnected because AT&T didn't pay Cingular soon enough.

This isn't a huge bill, but it still annoys me. I pay $35 montly for our home security system monitoring. DH signed up over 3 years ago for a 2 year contract, but it was automatically extended for another 2 years when we moved and had it transferred.
We never even use it anymore. I am calling to cancel it the day after the agreement is up in January!!!

My bills are as minimal as I can get it. I only have gas, electric, and water/sewer.

Technically, I also have broadband internet, but my contract doesn't expire until the end of next month. I plan to cancel it after that.

If I were you, I'd call to cancel it now. There's the small chance that you can cancel early, which would be nice. But more importantly, usually on these sorts of renewals you have to let them know that you want to cancel the policy before the renewal date. Some of them require 30 day notice and so forth.

My health insurance bill, because I'm a contract attorney I have to pay for my own medical insurance, it is insanely expensive! I am healthy, but just on the off chance that some major catastrophe happens I have to pay outrageous sums to those turkeys...grrr...also medical/dental bills, I agree with an earlier poster for some unknown reason they are almost always incorrect and require a lot of follow-up work, ick, ick...

I hate paying my gas and electric bill, especially since they are combined on one bill.

The bills that annoy me the most are bills with interest. I refuse to have a house mortgage, but I have a loan on a piece of property. I can't wait til I pay that off. Car payments have never bothered me cause I know I married a car nut! He does work 7 days a week so he can have a new car.

I find that the phone account is often wrong. there are often charges on it that are nnot correct.

Apart from medical and phone bills, what other bills are regularly wrong?

Amen! It's like they are punishing us for using less. Last year when AmerenIP told about the upcoming price hike on natural gas, many of us lowered our thermostats even more. Come spring, Ameren complained how they lost money because not as much natural gas was used due to people being thrifty and the fact our winter wasn't quite as cold as expected.

Right now the bills that annoy me to no end are ones that we have to have yet we don't get what we pay for. When my mom died, I took over paying the bills at her house. I paid for garbage service, yet the sanitation workers couldn't be bothered to pick up the garbage. When I called to complain I was told it would be picked up the next day and that was after it had sat for over a month! Yet when I called back to say it hadn't been picked up and that I felt the company was stealing from me and that I should be getting a refund, I was told I wouldn't. After many phone calls, the garbage was finally taken, but I had paid for this in advance! Have I received a refund for the rest of the month that was paid for and not used since I sold the house? Heck no! Yet, we are required to carry garbage service in our community and assigned the service.
