We don't have CC debt besides the ones I carry at 0% while the money resides in CDs to earn me interest.

We charge EVERYTHING we can to get the rebates, but pay them off monthly! I hate giving up free money so much so it drives my wife nuts.

Credit Card debt eats at your finances like a bad mold.

Let's see...15k in cc debt and I have a 1996 Ford Windstar Minivan and 2 children. That doesn't make sense. I guess that is why I am here looking for a solution to my debt problem.

Really great wedding and honeymoon photo's. In the end, I'd do it again, but I'd try to pay more in cash and charge less. We had a wonderfull wedding and honeymoon. We actually spent way under the Chicago area average and had a wedding just as nice or nicer than a big-ticket wedding would have been, we just didn't have the cash on hand to pay for everything upfront. It will all be paid of in less than two years from the date we got married, with little to no interest so it's not as bad as it could have been, debt wise.

I owe $0.00 on credit cards. We owed $14K as of April 2005, and we are now debt free from ccs.

I got a husband from my cc debt. There was no way we could've paid for our wedding without a cc. After 9 months, we realized we were never going to get married if we didn't charge some of it. It sounds like we had this really extravagent wedding but a $12K wedding is not that extravagent anymore (average US wedding is $27K). We had other circumstances affecting the wedding savings, such as the purchase of a home in scary home buying conditions (i.e. we were stranded by a hurricane and could not afford a home if we waited because of the tripling prices)

Also, we paid for my LASIK on the cc that I had in Jan 05. My vision is now 20/15. I don't know what it was before, but it was so bad I couldn't see well enough to find my glasses. I can't say enough great things about it. I only wish that I had it done sooner.

Lastly, we went to a bridal show where you could get 2 free vacations if you bought the advertised pots and pans in Feb 05. They weren't cheap, but now we have nice cookware with a lifetime warranty and two free vacations.

I paid this off a long time ago, but in the past, I paid for sheets, a camcorder for my mom, and a ring for my mom on credit cards. My mom has the nice llbean sheets now, the camcorder she still uses (used for our wedding video), and she still wears the ring. I love to spoil my mom, but I wouldn't charge all those items again though.

I forgot, we bought our couch and 52-inch tv and ccs. They were on no-interest for 2 years and 1 year respectively, but we paid them off well before the interest deadline.
