Default Cute sign I saw in a gift shop

I saw this plaque in a gift shop in Vermont last week.

"I have never been in a situation where having money made it worse."

How true that is! Money may not buy happiness but lack of money sure can bring misery.

Yes, that's exactly what all the empirical research on the relationship between money and happiness concludes.

Another plaque in the same shop read:

"Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?"

Seen on a tee-shirt:

"The lack of money is the root of all evil."

You feel stuck with your debt if you can't budge it.
