My wife received an offer yesterday for a GMAC visa where 1% on GMAC credit card goes to reducing principal on our mortgage with GMAC.

They tried to do this twice. In both cases, the $250 promo lasted for 1-2 days only. They may offer a $250 bonus in the future but you will need to have somebody to share info about the bonus link(a) on a public forum and catch the deal before it is gone. On the other hand, they can terminate the $100 bonus any time. I am not really sure what I would do.... probably take the $100 bonus offer.

If you decide to wait, there is a way to get email notifications about credit card bonuses I happen to run into. If you are interested, you can PM me and I will tell you how. Then, you will be able to get an email alert when I find another $250 bonus from Chase (unfortunately, as well as, all other card bonuses, which you may not be interested in at all).
