After you read this article, click on the "More on Money Columns" on the right hand side of the column for more great money ideas like maxing out your 401K.

My girl friend referred me to AARP before I was even 40. I became an associate member and have learned a lot about retirement, etc.

I only did that long enough to get all of the card charges paid off. Then I pay the balance in full each month, so I don't care what the interest rate is!
