Default The Fed's rate decision???

When they raise the rates, how long before Emigrant and the other banks start their fierce battle for our money????

It seems many of the online banks (particularly the traditional Big 3: ING, ED, HSBC) are satisfied with the amount of deposits they have now. I don't think they're in a big rush to stay on top anymore.

My current favorite is GMAC which hasn't tried the gimmicks (sign-on bonuses, referral bonuses, extra APY for new customers, etc.), but has been consistent about raising its rates. And its CD rates are very respectable as well.
