That is what you need to do Fiz. My husband is self employed and we never know if we are going to get another house to build. Plus, we have to wait to start a house because there is so much demand in our area. We are always on a waiting list with the basement people. My husband has basically been out of work since Christmas, but because we have saved all the profit from the last several years, we have the money to live on and not worry.

We all worry but it is nice to get to a point where the worry is much much less, because you have sufficient savings.

Not really, because I am debt free now. Sometimes I worry the house will need major repairs which I can't afford, but I would be prepared to take out an equity loan if I had to. I figure if i've gotten out of debt once, I can do it again. I'm more concerned about not having enough in retirement.

I am much more worried about the government's debt and its potential action by monetizing it than by any debt owed by me.

I used to worry about debt alot. But once I got a handle on the problem and managed to knock alot of the debts down I seem to be much more relaxed about things.

Every once in awhile I get a little frazzled, but if I look back at the issues I used to have I calm down farely quickly.

The only debt we have is our mortgage and it's constantly on my mind, working on paying it down early but there's always something you need on a farm, it's never ending.
