Payed off my Debt today!

After 10 years and about 10,000 of debt hanging over my head, i finally paid off my CC just in time for the new year!

Great feeling, to start off the year debt-free for the first time in my life! (Had CC since college)

That is wonderful! I just paid off my husband's van in December. Now I am taking that same payment everyweek and adding it to our savings under the subtitle, new car!
I keep an notebook with sub accounts in our savings account. There is one for vacation, new car, pay off land, christmas, etc.

Isn't it nice to be debt free! Now remember to put that same payment towards some type of savings goal--whether that is a new car, downpayment on a house, or building up emergency savings it doesn't matter. Congrats and keep up the good work.
