Question Half.com

How does one know what to price books at on Half.com? How well do books that are not text books sell? I have a ton of "trashy" books, just books that are meant to be enjoyed, mysteries etc and i would love to figure out how to make some money on them.

Can multiple books by one author be sold as a "set"? you know 5 books by nancy Jones that can be bought together? Has anyone made extra money doing this and can give me come pointers?

Thanks-
Kristina

I JUST listed one of Dan Brown's book on half.com to see what the deal is and also I just listed one thing with Ebay to see how this goes.. I'm kinda on the fence about both because this is my first dealings withboth.. I think divajen is pretty knowlegeable aboit this.. you should ask her. Hopethis helped!

My general rule of thumb with half is to try to price it lower than anyone else. (I want the sale and I want it out of the house -- that's the fastest way to do it.) I don't think you can do sets on half, but you could do it on eBay. Check the eBay completed listings to see if it would be worth it. You can also check ebookdrop.com. They're not great, but at least they're easy.

Whenever I want to sell something, the first place I list it on is craigslist, because it's free.

If it doesn't sell there, I go to ebay. I haven't tried half.com yet.

Another new player in this is Google. They just launched Google Base (base.google.com) where you can list ANYTHING for free.
