Kelley Blue Book has announced the cars with the best resale value for 2006, something to consider if you're buying used and especially if you decide to buy new. For brand, BMW and MINI tied as having the best overall resale value. The following are top ten vehicles for keeping resale value in according to Kelley Blue Book 2006 awards:

MINI Cooper
Toyota Prius
Honda Accord Hybrid
Volvo XC90
Porche Cayenne
Infiniti G35
Chevorlet Corvette
BMW 5-Series
Lexus GX 470
Infiniti M45




In specific categories, the following cars won top honors:

Sedan: Honda Accord Hybrid
Coupe: Infiniti G35 Coupe
Convertible: Chevorlet Corvette Convertible
Wagon: Suburu Outback Wagon
Hatchback: MINI Cooper & Toyota Prius (tie)
Pick-up: Toyota Tacoma PreRunner
SUV: Porche Cayenne
Van/Minivan: Honda Odyssey
Luxury: Infiniti M45
