Gas Tops $3 A Gallon At Some Stations

The $3 a gallon price for gas is starting to be seen in a scattering of places these days with the trend likely to continue. AAA reported that the average gasoline price has climbed to $2.60 today, the 7th straight daily record. That is up about 2 cents from Thursday and a jump of nearly 20 cents over the past week. Gas has climbed 73 cents over the last year, marking a 39% increase over that period.




People living in California are currently paying the most where regular unleaded is averaging $2.792 according to AAA. Utah residents are paying the least where the average is $2.441 a gallon
